   Fundraising Events 

 

 Here at Free 2 Be we have some wonderful people organising amazing events, all to raise funds to fulfill our purpose.

 

Sarah celebrated her 40th birthday by walking 6 miles to raise funds for Free 2 Be.

On 23rd November 2014 Angela
ran over 20km in the Roturua Half Marathon in New Zealand. She
wore her usual FUNdraising attire, as seen here and carried a
donation bucket. She  raised
funds to buy a cow and help build
a composting toilet at Free 2 Be Primary School.

Nov 2013 -
Go Ukulele Crazy performed at St James Church, Brownhills
a Hog Roast supper made the evening eggs-tra special
as we raised £1,500 to buy hens, goats and a cow for
Free 2 Be Primary School.

 

 

 

 Sept 2013 - Dianne and Jim's Garden Party

in Doncaster raised over
£1,500.00

July 2013 - The very first Free 2 Be Charity Concert featuring our Patron, Fiona Hendley Jones 
and Paul Jones was a tremendous success and raised just over £1,500.00 

with 168 guests at St. James Church, Brownhills, 
it was a wonderful evening of song, 
dance and testimony.

 

 

May 2013 - Kate's birthday was celebrated with a Barn Dance, the band "Patchwork" and caller Joyce Berry did a wonderful job hosting the evening and a "fun" night was had by all.
This event also had a surprise element as Angela and Peter made a surprise entry from 
New Zealand at the beginning of the evening. 
Almost £600 was raised on the night.
